Hall of Fame candidate, Fox analyst, former Buc, former Bronco, Ring of Honor, Ring of Fame recipient, and Superbowl Champion, John Lynch has been hired to fill the GM position for the 49ers with a 6-year deal. This will mean the former Stanford safety will be returning to the bay area.
The 49ers have been wanting to tie the GM and head coaching positions together, and it’s rumored that they also plan on offering the Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan a 6-year deal as well.
