I would have lost a case of rum on this one. I was interested to see if the Bucs attendance improved with the addition of a new coaching staff and Ray Jay’s numerous improvements completed in 2016 the first phase of a 100 million dollar remodel. Phase two and three of the remodel is slated to be completed in ’17 and ’18. The stadium upgrades are to improve fan experience and keep us in the now of new technology. And it did and does.
However, the Bucs had a slightly lower average attendance in 2016 compared to 2015. Granted the figure was less than 1000 fans. Also noted, we had a decent team in 2016. These figures have me stumped. I told you I would have lost that bet.
