The Buccaneers sign place kicker.

The Buccaneers have recently announced that they have signed kicker Zach Hocker. Post the Aguayo release, the Tamp Bay Buccaneers opted to sign another kicker to battle Nick Folk for the starting kicking position.

Hocker was signed by the Redskins in the seventh-round of the 2014 draft. He was waived before the start of the 2014 season and did not get picked up by a team until the Dolphins signed him in 2015. Hocker had jumped around to several teams not getting a whole lot of playing time. The Most playing time Hocker had seen was with the Cincinnati Bengals in which he participated in 8 games and was 10/14 on extra points.

He seems to be pretty solid on extra-points, something that Aguayo was not. It will be an interesting battle as it is pinched for time and no one has time for misses.
