Buccaneers Injury Updates.

Adam Humphries injured his hip during the contest against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. The extent of the injury is not known however is believed to be minor. If his injury is extensive then Chris Godwin, who has played great all preseason, will have the door opened for him. Before Hump left the game, Saturday, he recorded 2 catches for 24 yards.
Gerald McCoy had an MRI and it revealed that he has a strained groin. McCoy has stated that he is fine and will rest until week one.
Demar Dotson also suffered a groin injury a few weeks back, but received good news from his MRI and is expected to be ready week one.
DaVonte Lambert left Saturday’s preseason game with a dislocated wrist, but is believed to not have any ligament damage, which is good news as that would mean his injury will not be season ending. Timetable for his return is not known to me at this point in time.
Brent Grimes, who suffered one of the ugliest shin gashes I have ever seen, was back at practice, and will be ready week one.
Jacquies Smith, who suffered a season ending ACL tear last season in week one against the Falcons, is back running around. A good sign for the 5th-year DE who has quietly recorded 13.5 sacks in the 27 games he’s played in Tampa.
