Dougie Is Back!

Doug Martin has been activated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after serving a four-game suspension for violating the League’s Substance Abuse Policy. He is expected to suit up Thursday against the Patriots, however,  the role he will play has yet to be said. Being that he has not played, other than the preseason, since December of last year, many expect a slow start for the veteran running back. I, on the other hand, expect a fast start for a newly revamped Doug Martin and despite the headlines saying that Martin is not guaranteed a position on this team, expect him to be a huge part of the offense this week bringing another dangerous weapon to the offense.

Jacquizz Rodgers has been holding down the starting position and has performed quite well in Martin’s absence, but I believe he will have to take a backseat when the Dougernaut returns. However, considering the fact that Martin has not played in a regular season game since last season, I still see Quizz getting in on a large chunk of the action. Unless Martin comes out like a wild animal.

In addition to Martin being re-instated on Monday, was the release of TE/FB Alan Cross.
