In an effort to make room for wide receiver, Freddie Martino, on the active roster, the Bucs waived Reedy on Friday, according to Dirk Koetter.

Martino rejoined the roster just 4 days after being cut to reactivate Evans from the suspended list.

On Monday Reedy cleared waivers and signed to the Patriots practice squad, hoping to make the roster once he learns the playbook.

Reedy mostly served as a special teams contributor this season with the Bucs. He handled punt and kick-off returns in the first 9 games with a 44-yard punt return and a 50-yard kickoff return. On offense he had two catches for 21 yards and three carries for 17 yards. In total, he returned 14 punts for 143 yards and seven kickoffs for 145 yards, this season.
