Injuries piled up during Falcon game on Sunday

As if the loss to the Falcons on Sunday wasn’t depressing enough, the amount of Buccaneers added to the injury list, tacked on a bit more disappointment for Bucs fans and the team, I’m sure. Doug Martin, Tj Ward, Clinton McDonald, Josh Robinson, Demar Dotson, and Ali Marpet were all injured during the game.

Martin left the game briefly due to a head injury, but came back into the game shortly thereafter, only to leave the game indefinitely during the first half, suffering from a concussion. T.J. Ward also left the game due to a concussion, after receiving a blow to the head in the second half of Sundays game. There’s no news yet on how long the two will be out of play.

Defensive tackle, McDonald, left the game, and did not return due to a back injury, he hopes to recover and return for week 13.  Defensive back/Special teams captain, Robinson, left the game in the third quarter due to an ongoing hamstring issue, no word yet on the severity of the injury or if he will be healthy enough to play in week 13.

Both Center, Ali Marpet and Offensive tackle, Demar Dotson, went down with knee injuries in the second quarter. Thankfully though, they both recovered quickly and were able to return to the game shortly thereafter.

The injuries the players sustained in week 12, add them to the growing list of players that are out, including Quarterback, Jameis Winston, who is still out of play, recovering from a shoulder injury. I am hoping these guys recover quickly and return ready to play soon.
