Kicking Tales: A Light in The Darkness (An Epic Rendition)

Has the dark cloud that had hung over Tampa’s kickers for the past three seasons finally lifted?

Being that it’s only the first Day of OTAs and that we’ve all heard this before, I am still of a belief that this time may be different.

The general feeling around One Buc also has a different heir to it. You can almost smell the W’s cooking and see Jameis Winston on the way back to his table with a second plate.

Previous stories pertaining to the kicking situation had been full of plot twists, emotional roller coasters, and all ended on a cliffhanger.

This season’s edition of the “Kicking Tales,” is a much-less discussed narrative about two legmen, Chandler Catanzaro and Trevor Moore, who embark on a quest to find the cure for the Buccaneers kicking woes.

Tasked with an arduous charge, these two champions, set out on their adventure to find the Light of The Upright in order to extinguish the darkness that has enshrouded the Bay. Day one of OTAs proved that these two heroes are more than adept for the undertaking.

Former New York Jet’s kicker Chandler Catanzaro made quick work of the contest by hitting all of 5 of his kicks in practice, on may 22nd, and made it look simple to those who chose to cast their eyes upon the unwavering warrior.

Our second Paladin, Trevor Moore, hails from North Texas as an undrafted free agent rookie and he, too, has shown that he can remain steadfast in his crusade, by hitting 4 out of 5 attempts.

Will our heroes be able to retrieve the Light and end the Darkness that has plagued the City of Tampa in time for the Season? Only time will tell.
