It looks like Donovan Smith will be missing some time, due to his injury. The 25-year old LT did not miss one game last season, is set to miss 2-4 weeks with a knee sprain.
During practice on 8/21, Smith was seen having his leg rolled up on him, leading to the knee injury.
Thankfully, the news is better than what was first expected as Smith was seen laying on the field for a long period of time, after the injury, causing fear in the hearts of the team and of the coaching staff.
Considering that Smith has played in every game since his coming into the league in 2015, this comes as quite a shock as he could miss the first couple of regular season games. However, the Bucs are hopeful, as are we, that Smith will return in time for the contest against the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
