Ryan Fitzpatrick Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week For 2 Straight Weeks

It goes without saying, but backup QB (does this even apply anymore?) Ryan Fitzpatrick is playing out of his mind right now. As a result, he has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.

He is the first player in franchise history to earn this award back-to-back, and among a small crew of QB’s within the franchise who have received the award multiple times in the same season.

It is truly remarkable the level that Fitzmagic, excuse me Fitzpatrick, is playing at right now. Even though no one expects him to keep up the pace of +400yards and 4 TD’s per game, one must wonder if keep repeat for a third time against a now suspect Steelers defense on Monday.
