In a tweet from George Whitfield Jr., he noted that Jameis Winston has tirelessly prepared for 3.5 weeks during his suspension, and is excited to return to his team. Whitfield prepped Winston for the draft.
It has been previously reported that it is expected that Ryan Fitzpatrick will start past week 3, and that Winston has a team-first mentality. Which is what you want to see from your franchise leader. Regardless of what the future holds in the short term, Winston is the Bucs future. Whatever that means for the the last 13 games remains to be seen.
