DeSean Jackson is Closing in on a Big Milestone

DeSean Jackson is closing in on the 10,000-yard receiving club and only needs 89-yards to achieve this feat. Jackson can accomplish the milestone this Sunday, with a fair amount of ease.

The Atlanta Falcons will have Desmond Trufant on the veteran receiver Mike Evans leaving DeSean Jackson virtually open for the entire game. It will, of course, be up to QB Jameis Winston to find Jackson and the offensive line to give Jameis the time to find the veteran receiver.

DeSean Jackson certainly has the ability to make this a two-catch achievement and impose his legacy upon the NFL, but he is not paying attention to his stats.

“I try to stay as consistent as possible and just leave a legacy, you know, when I’m all said and done with this career,” Jackson said. “I try not to really think much about [the stats].

“The biggest thing is going out there and working my profession, doing what I’m able to do to create explosive plays.” – via Joe Bucs Fan.

DeSean Jackson is one of three receivers who were on pace to join this prestigious club. Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers joined this club in week one vs the Cleveland Browns.

Julio Jones is bringing up the rear needing 382 yards to achieve the 10,000-yard club. That is something he can achieve in the next 3 weeks.
