Cappa Could Be Activated Against the Panthers

With the Bucs getting nothing but poor play out of starting G Caleb Benenoch, they could activate rookie G Alex Cappa by next week’s game against the Panthers. The Bucs’ running game sits at the bottom of the league, and it could be time for a change along the O-line.

Cappa was drafted in the 3rd round, 94th overall, out of Humboldt state. He started at Tackle in college but has since moved to Guard because of his superior run blocking.

So far Cappa has had a disappointing season and has not even been activated for the first 7 games, but now could be his chance. Caleb Benenoch has started the first half of the season with very poor results. Hopefully starting Cappa could provide a spark to a much-beleagured offensive line.
