DeSean Jackson is not giving up despite the obvious frustration he has shown over the past few weeks. Amid the rumor of a trade request and allegations of disdain towards Buccaneers’ staff and players comes a light at the end of the tunnel.

He hates to lose, and that’s obvious, but who doesn’t? The Bucs have lost five of their last six games, so there is room for emotions to run a little wild. However, at the end of the day, DeSean Jackson loves it here in Tampa and is not going to give up on his team.

He recently addressed the trade rumors, stating that those conversations were between him and his GM, but also noted that the situation is in the past and that he is looking forward.

Jackson recently set an NFL record during the Bengals game with his 24th TD of 60 yards or more, which is good for first in history. There has been some good during this bad showing. He admitted that the root of his frustrations lay at the feet of himself and his team, knowing that they have all of the talent in the world, but cannot close games out for the win. He seems to share the same frustrations that Bucs fans have.

Regardless of how anyone feels about the veteran receiver wearing his heart on his sleeve, Jackson wants to win, wants his team to win, and will not give up. He still has his eyes on the playoffs and encourages his team to do the same.
