Reports flew in today that the Buccaneers have waived kicker Chandler Catanzaro. However, it seems that HC Dirk Koetter has denied the report. But Dirk Koetter also did say that the Bucs have done their due diligence in looking for a replacement.

The original report came from ESPN’s Jenna Laine, who is a pretty credible source, so no one would have had a reason to think that it could have been a mistake.

Regardless of him being released now or later, his outcome is inevitable. He has made just 73.3% of his FGs and missed two easy ones on Sunday. making only 11 of 15 attempts and 23 of 27 extra points, it’s obvious his time is short.
