Mike Evans Setting Another Buccaneer Record

While many Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been chosen for the Pro Bowl more than once, Mike Evans is setting a new record this year by being the first Wide Receiver in franchise history to be chosen more than once.

Evans has been busy breaking records this season. He broke Mark Carriers’ 29-year record for receiving yards in a single season, racking up 1,524 yards, a career high for Evans. He holds the team’s all-time receiving yards record as well. He marked his fifth straight season with 1,000 yards or more per season, making him the third receiver in the NFL to accomplish that. He also led the team in receiving touchdowns, breaking a record TE Jimmie Giles held.

Evans has chiseled out his spot as one of the top receivers in the NFL and has been a saving grace for the Buccaneers since being drafted in 2014.

The 2019 Pro Bowl is set for Sunday, January 27th at 3pm EST.
