Licht: “Nobody Has Given Up On Ronald Jones”
Buccaneers GM Jason Licht spoke on 2018 2nd round draft pick RB Ronald Jones. In what could be seen as a dig at the former coaching staff or at the teams overall effort Licht said that Jones was “young” and “every time in preseason we handed him the ball there was somebody there”
Licht says Ronald Jones was young and in the preseason every time they handed him the ball there was somebody there. “He just needed a confidence boost…nobody has given up on Ronald Jones.”

Licht went on to say ” He just needs a confidence boost” and that ” nobody has given up on Ronald Jones”
This might be a simple case of Licht just helping the 2nd year RB regain some confidence or it could be Licht taking a bit of a swipe towards the previous coaching staff.
I tend to believe it’s a combination of the two.
