Bucannon spent 2014-2017 under Bruce Arians, and played for DC Todd Bowles as a rookie. Through 5 seasons he has racked up 404 combined tackles, 12 PD, 7 FF, 5 FR, and 2 INT.
Deone Bucannon had other teams in the mix, including James Bettcher's Giants, but I'm told Bucannon really wanted to return to the "coaching staff that believed in him" and created the "Moneybacker" position for him — Bruce Arians, Todd Bowles and Larry Foote. https://t.co/CXTSKAWJ7z

It is being reported that other teams were interested in signing Bucannon, but wanted to go to Tampa Bay because of the coaching staff. Stating that HC Bruce Arians and staff originally believed in him.
He would ideally be the “Moneybacker” for Tampa Tampa Bay. With the needed relief at linebacker, this signing makes sense.
Details of the deal are not yet know. Stay tuned for BucsReport.com for updates.
