Bruce Arians was asked about Gerald McCoy returning in 2019. "Um…probably a better question for Jason [Licht]." He cited financials and age. "I've gotta evaluate him." He said "he's not as disruptive as he was four years ago but he's still a good player."

That doesn’t seem to be a ringing endorsement from the new Buccaneers head coach. With McCoy set to earn 13 million this year on a team that is severely strapped for cash, this could elude to the Buccaneers considering moving on from McCoy?
