Buccaneers Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles feels like it’s Christmas morning.
#Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles of getting five defensive players in the draft. “It’s always exciting to get new toys at Christmas. How you use them and how they perform will tell the story,” Bowles said.

It’s easy to understand Bowles excitement with having so many “new toys” to play with as the Buccaneers used 6 of their 8 draft picks on defensive players including their first 5 picks in this years draft.
The Buccaneers had one of the league’s worst defenses last season, which led to the firing of its entire coaching staff and the hiring of Bruce Arians, Todd Bowles and the largest coaching staff assembled in recent history.
Here’s to hoping none of these presents turn out to be a lump of coal.
