Buccaneers the Turnaround Team In NFC South?

A lot has changed since the Buccaneers last played a regular season game. New coaches, new players and a ton of excitement. Of course with the good comes the bad. There will be plenty of media downplaying the Bucs offseason and the strategic moves they’ve been making since head coach Bruce Arians was brought on board. Former NFL cornerback turned analyst, DeAngelo Hall, isn’t part of that media bandwagon. He believes Tampa Bay is headed in the right direction.

Hall believes that the hire of Arians will pay dividends for the Buccaneers as a whole. He also thinks that newly-hired offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich was the perfect fit for Tampa Bay. He would go on to say “I know what kind of person he (Leftwich) is; he’s the perfect guy for Jameis Winston”. With players affirming Leftwich’s credentials and work ethic, this should give Tampa Bay a closer look at the type of guy he is and what he brings to this team.

“I know what kind of person he (Leftwich) is; he’s the perfect guy for Jameis Winston.”

Hypothetically speaking, if the Buccaneers win nine or more games and even clinch a wild card spot in the playoffs, then yes, Tampa Bay should be crowned the biggest turnaround team in NFC South. If they sputter… Well, there’s always next season, right?
