Buccaneers training camp is in full swing now. The individual position battles are underway, the pads have been cracking on a daily basis and the players are learning a new system. With that comes an unfortunate side effect, injuries. The Buccaneers have had a few worth mentioning, Lavonte David’s knee, Vita Vea’s knee and now offensive lineman Mike Liedtke’s shoulder.
As Bucs wait for word on DT Vita Vea, there’s tough news for their offensive line depth, as the shoulder injury that has sidelined Mike Liedtke will be season-ending. Versatile backup, 27, played in nine games last year.
