Buccaneers release rookie running back

The Buccaneers are releasing running back Bruce Anderson to make room for defensive lineman Pat O’Connor on the practice squad.

Anderson had a solid game against the Dallas Cowboys with 70 yards rushing and a touchdown. He also showed a lot of promise during training camp. This move seems more like a numbers game and that  Buccaneers obviously valued O’Connor more than him.
