Jameis Winston has taken plenty of heat this week for his performance against the 49ers this past Sunday. Tonight in Charlotte facing the Carolina Panthers Winston seems to have found his groove. This TD pass to wide receiver Chris Godwin late in the 2nd quarter is a great example of that.
As mentioned, Winston did have a bad game this last Sunday. But tonight, in the first half he has been sharp. Tonight, Winston has still looked uncomfortable. The difference tonight is he hasn’t turned the ball over.
