Rookie linebacker to miss Giants game?

The Buccaneers host the New York Giants Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. It appears they will do so without the use of their first-round draft pick Devin White.

White was at practice today but was not participating. The rookie linebacker was wearing a knee brace as a result of his MCL sprain suffered against the Panthers.

Also not participating were:

CB Jamel Dean (lower leg)
OLB Devante Bond (hamstring)
QB Blaine Gabbert (shoulder)

All in all the Buccaneers are a fairly healthy team heading into Week 3. While there is no official word on White being ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Giants, it is pretty much a foregone conclusion.

*UPDATE 3:25pm 9/20/19*

Four players are officially ruled “out” for Sunday’s game against the Giants. Jamel Dean, Devante Bond, Blaine Gabbert and Devin White.
