Buccaneers’ cornerback Ryan Smith returned to the team after serving his four game suspension. Smith was suspended four games without pay for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy in July.
Smith spoke with the media today,
“They could have made a roster change, and I thank God every day that I’m here. It feels great to know they trust me enough to keep me. I’m glad to be back.”
Smith when asked about the team’s play in his absence and how hard it was watching these last four games,
” I was screaming at the TV and everything. So excited to see my guys out there doing their thing. Yesterday was a great win. That looked like an exciting game. I’m mad I missed it, but I’m happy to be back”
The Buccaneers will need to make a roster move with Smith’s return, but not till later this week.
