Which Buccaneer will shine brightest today?

On this weekend that we give thanks for all of our brave, dedicated military personnel, Bucs Report would like to thank each and every one of our American heroes.

 

We also thought we would begin the 2nd half of the 2019 Buccaneers season with a little exercise in predictive analysis. Poll the staff of Bucs Report to see where today’s Sunday magic might come from.

It Takes A Village

A challenge was made. A gauntlet laid down. The staff was challenged to come up with the Tampa Bay player that would have the biggest impact on today’s game. The fun part of this exercise is it always take more than one shining star to secure victory in the NFL.

The following are the predictions for Week 10 Tampa Bay success.

Rhett Matthew(Cannon Fire Podcast)

OJ Howard:

Coming back from a nagging hamstring injury, OJ has every reason to breakout on Sunday. Before his injury we watched him take on a role as a blocker to make up for the right side of the line. Headed into Sunday with 5 OL starters healthy (also on the heels of a solid performance in Seattle) I think it finally opens things up for Howard to be used as the athletic, pass catching TE we all know and love. Target Howard and make us forget about our lack of WR3.

Johnny Dean(Bucs Report, aka; the Professor)

Khazin Daniels:

Look for Daniels to have a breakout game, Why? Simple, despite his disability Daniels has been a beast his entire football career. In 40 games at Charleston, WV, Daniels racked up some pretty impressive numbers: 161 tackles, 34.5 sacks, and 3 passes defensed. He finished as the schools all time sack leader. Not to shabby for someone that played with one eye. I would strongly suggest keeping an eye out for Daniels this coming game . he just can’t see losing.

Keith Larson (Editor in Chief, Ogre)

Jordan Whitehead 

Jordan Whitehead has quietly been the most consistent player in the Buccaneers’ secondary so far this season. The 2018 4th round pick out of Pittsburg leads the team with 8 pass breakups and is 2nd on the team in tackles with 39. Whitehead has a nose for the ball and the ability to do something when he gets there. Look for Whitehead’s name to be called frequently Sunday against the Cardinals.

Vernon Hargreaves 

 

I’m riding with Vernon Hargreaves. The Cardinals have a rookie quarterback in Kyler Murray. They will look to try to establish the run. With David Johnson, and newly acquired Kenyon Drake toting the rock. Both a danger out of the backfield as well, a sure tackling VH3 will shine out on the Raymond James gridiron on this beautiful Florida November afternoon.
