Report: Jameis Winston Could Receive a 2 Year Deal

As first reported by Jenna Laine of ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are considering a 2 year deal for Jameis Winston.

The first year would roughly be a hit of $27 million to the $84 million of total cap space. The second year provides a team option which would give both Winston, and the Buccaneers flexibility going into the 2021 season.

We’ll see how the contract ultimately unfolds, but so far, a two year deal is gaining steam.

  1. Winston does & did not have a decent line at alll! How the hell you call are line decent when are RBs didn’t even touch 100 rushing yards at alllllllllll this past season! Not to mention the most sacked QB In the league

  2. Good plan,, give him another year w/ this offense, correct some issues.. Give him a desent O-line, a quality RB & see what happens!! Defense will step up when #3is on his Game!!!

    • Where have you been? He had a decent O-Line, a quality RB and a defense that stepped up. He had 30 INTs and 12 fumbles with all of those things.
