As first reported by Jenna Laine of ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are considering a 2 year deal for Jameis Winston.
The Bucs have also entertained the idea of a two-year deal with the first year guaranteed and the second year being a team option for Jameis Winston, per sources. The first year would be roughly the same as the franchise tag $27 million. https://t.co/vZ5U9abWCi

The first year would roughly be a hit of $27 million to the $84 million of total cap space. The second year provides a team option which would give both Winston, and the Buccaneers flexibility going into the 2021 season.
We’ll see how the contract ultimately unfolds, but so far, a two year deal is gaining steam.
