0

Listen to Buccaneers rookie undrafted free agent quarterback Reid Sinnett for a little while and something comes to mind. You are reminded that as much as the NFL is a star driven league, It is the grinders that give us some of the best narratives. Recently Sinnett joined us on The Sports Web to talk about a laundry list of topics

Recruited by Ivy league schools Harvard, Yale, and Penn. the 6’4”, 230 lb basketball, baseball, and football star would go to the University of San Diego. When asked by Peter Blake on Tuesday night. Why San Diego? Sinnett asked if either interviewer had been to San Diego. The short and long of it being that beautiful San Diego Weather.

Personal Favorites

When asked about his own personal favorite sports moment. Sinnett said winning baseball districts to go to state in his senior year at Johnston High School in Iowa. His favorite football touchdown? A touchdown pass he threw to himself last year in college. A tipped pass on 3rd and 9 that he was able to catch and scamper for a touchdown

The number the young man will wear with the Buccaneers is #7. The number worn by this reporters favorite Buccaneer quarterback, Craig Erickson. Also a number worn by Martin Gramattica. Super Bowl 37 champion, and best kicker in Buccaneers history.

This young grinder will have to scratch, pull, work his ass off, and turn heads. Listening to him talk to Peter Blake, and Joshua Allen on Wednesday night, he sounds like he is ready. You get to really root for the kid. Grind enough to find a place in the 2020 Buccaneers organization.

Everybody loves a grinder. You grind Reid Sinnett. You grind.

The interview in its entirety can be seen from Wednesday nights The Sports Web on the Bucs Report (seen here).
