As Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times has reported, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with 2020 seventh-round draft pick, Raymond Calais. Calais agrees to a four-year rookie deal with Tampa bay where he will work his way onto the active roster possibly as a kick/ punt returner, or a change of pace running back.

Calais ran a 4.42 40 at the combine this year making him the third fasted runner at the the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette product holds the schools all time rusher title. Calais averaged over 28-yards per kick return his senior season earning him the All-Sun Belt Conference First team returner in 2019.

As for all the 2020 NFL rookie class, 2020 will be a season like no other. With the corona virus pandemic reducing much of what would be a normal offseason for these players, later round draft picks will need to truly prove what they can bring to their respective teams. The Buccaneers are looking to up their run game in 2020 with new quarterback Tom Brady at the helm of the offense.
