As first reported by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running backs Raymond Calais and Aca’Cedric Ware have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Add another #Bucs rookie running back on the reserve/COVID-19 list: Raymond Calais, a seventh-round pick from Louisiana-Lafayette.

Calais is the Buccaneers sixth round selection out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He brings real potential to the return game, and will have to miss a portion of training camp along with third round rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn
Also added to the Reserve/Covid-19 list is 2nd year running back Aca’Cedric Ware.
#Bucs second-year RB Aca'Cedric Ware also was added to the reserve/COVID list.

This makes yesterdays signing of LeSean McCoy more clear, as the team is hurting for depth at the running back position.
It also opens up the opportunity for bubble players such as Dare Ogunbowale to make the roster, as a quality pass catcher and blocker are slim on the waiver wire.
