NFL Week Six Fantasy Football Start Em’ Sit Em’

0

Week Six is among us and we here at Bucs Report have your Fantasy Football questions covered. Here is a breakdown of the players at each position that you should start in your league, or sit in your league.

Quarterbacks

Start Em’

Matt Ryan @ MIN- Ryan has lit it up in terms of yards this year, but nothing much besides that, especially not wins. He will however, likely have Julio Jones back against a pretty bad Vikings secondary.

Matthew Stafford @JAX- If you read last week’s start em’ sit em’, I told everyone to start DeShaun Watson against the Jaguars. He lit it up and picked up the win, just as I expect Stafford to do against the Jaguars this week.

Sit Em’

Carson Wentz Vs BAL- The Ravens are just really tough on opposing offenses. Their front seven and secondary made Joe Burrow look like a true rookie for the first time of his young career. Wentz doesn’t have a ton of weapons to work with in Philly. Start your other quarterback if you have one in your league.

Cam Newton Vs DEN- Newton may be a bit rusty after not being able to practice for a couple weeks due to COVID-19. He has a tough matchup against the Broncos. Though I expect the Patriots to win this game, I don’t think Newton will light up the stat sheet.

Running Backs

Start Em’

Myles Gaskin Vs NYJ- One of the brightest surprises in the entire NFL, Gaskin has been an amazing find for Miami. He averages four yards per carry and has 23 receptions to through the first five weeks. He is going up against a terrible Jets team and should see plenty of work load.

James Connor Vs CLE- This will be a very good divisional matchup. Connor will be a key asset in catching passes out of the backfield. He gets all of the goal-line reps and has stayed relatively healthy so far this season. Play Connor in a well-coached Pittsburgh offense.

Sit Em’

Melvin Gordon @NE- The Patriots defensive focus is to usually take away the opponents best offensive player. So far this season, that is Melvin Gordon. The Patriots will likely stack the box for a majority of the game, leaving Gordon with little room to run.

Devin Singletary Vs KC- The Bills have a funky schedule coming up, playing a Tuesday game followed by a Monday game. The Bills may try to work the run game in early, but I think they will have to rely on Josh Allen’s arm to stay in this one.

Wide Receivers

Start Em’

Stefon Diggs Vs KC- As I stated above, the Bills will have to throw the ball often in this game. Diggs is by far the number one receiver and should see a healthy amount of targets come his way against the Chiefs susceptible secondary.

Adam Thielen Vs ATL- Thielen has been a consistently solid wideout for Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota offense. Atlanta’s secondary is depleted and all around not very good. Thielen is a must start this week.

Sit Em’

Julian Edelman Vs DEN- Even with Cam Newton coming back, I don’t expect Edelman to have a huge impact on this game.

Jamison Crowder @ MIA- Crowder is without a doubt the best player on the Jets team. The Dolphins will do everything they can to prevent him from burning them, because they really don’t have to worry about anyone else. I would play him very cautiously if you absolutely need him in your flex.

Tight Ends

Start Em’

Mark Andrews @PHI- The Eagles secondary has not been very impressive to start the season. Andrews is a matchup nightmare for any secondary, especially one that is struggling. A consistent target for Lamar Jackson who I expect to continue to do well.

Evan Engram Vs WAS- I think this will be the game Engram breaks out. The Giants run game is pretty much gone, and the Redskins cornerbacks are actually pretty good. The Giants will need Engram to do well down the middle of the field as well as be Daniel Jones‘ check-down target.

Sit Em’

Jimmy Graham @CAR- Graham is a touchdown threat, but that’s about it. He doesn’t get many targets and will not rack up many yards. Without a touchdown, I wouldn’t bank on Graham getting you more than five or six points.

Austin Hooper @PIT- The Steelers defense will be a very tough matchup for the Browns. They will need Kareem Hunt and Baker Mayfield to pick up a lot of yards on the ground. I don’t think Hooper will be enough of a factor to warrant a start in your league.

Top Waiver Wire Adds
