Buccaneers’ Marpet Out Against New Orleans

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on divisional rivals the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. They’ll do so without the services of guard Ali Marpet.

The plan to fill in for Marpet is a bit convoluted. It looks like Joe Haeg will fill in for Marpet. But coach Bruce Arians also said Ryan Jensen could move to guard and A.Q. Shipley could play center.

Regardless of which plan they go with to cover for Marpet, it’s disappointing to see Marpet out and the chemistry that line had been building affected.
