The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading into week 17 of the NFL season looking to battle for a higher playoff seeding. Thursday they brought in former Seattle Seahawk and Houston Texan running back CJ Prosise for a workout.

There’s no word on a pending signing of Prosise by the Buccaneers at this point. Was this just a matter of the Buccaneers looking to fortify their running back depth? Or could it be that running back Ronald Jones isn’t quite recovered from a broken pinkie?
Prosise, a former 3rd round pick out of Notre Dame by the Seahawks has seen limited action over his three year NFL career.
