Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans came into Sunday’s game only needing 40 yards to hit his 1,000 yard mark. With his third reception in the first quarter of the game, Evans eclipsed 1,000 yards for the seventh start season, setting a new NFL record.

Randy Moss held the record for starting a career with six consecutive 1,000 yards seasons until Evans tied the record in 2019. With 1,006 yards on the season, Evans etched his name in the NFL history books as the only wide receiver to start his career with seven consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.
