Buccaneers’ Antonio Brown Injury Update

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for this Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the Packers in Green Bay. Earlier in the week the team received some good news in the defensive tackle Vita Vea was returning from injured reserve. Thursday brought concerning news as head coach Bruce Arians seemed to downgrade Antonio Brown’s status from day-to-day to game-time decision.

Brown had an MRI earlier this week after injuring it against the Saints in the divisional round. The veteran receiver in his 11th year hasn’t practiced all week, but as Greg Auman of The Athletic reported, Arians said Brown wouldn’t “necessarily” have to practice this week to play Sunday.
