Tom Brady Is Back Throwing at One Buc Place

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is back at One Buc Place. Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the seven-time Super Bowl champ was throwing at AdventHealth Training Center on Friday morning. Brady has been recovering from a procedure on his knee and was not at the team’s voluntary OTAs.

Approximately 10 Buccaneers teammates joined Brady Friday morning. Those in attendance were wide receiver Antonio Brown, quarterback Blaine Gabbert and tight ends Cameron Brate and Rob Gronkowski. Friday morning’s workout was very similar to the one held last year at Berkeley Prep by the quarterback.

Brady and some other vets participated in a throwing session on Monday, based off pictures Brady posted on Instagram. So Friday wasn’t the first workout of the offseason for Brady and others. The key here, however, is there is protection for players in case they injure themselves at One Buc.

It seems as if Brady took Bruce Arians up on his offer to use the facilities at One Buc in order to avoid the risk of potentially losing out on his salary if he were injured offsite. There will another round of voluntary OTAs next week before everything wraps up with a mandatory minicamp from June 7-9.

Either way, it’s good to see Brady back at One Buc.
