Tampa Bay Buccaneers Release Initial 53-Man Roster For 2021

0

The Buccaneers released their initial 53-man roster for the 2021 season on Tuesday. Keep in mind that this is still a fluid situation due to the four players currently on the NFL’s Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, kicker Ryan Succop, and offensive linemen Nick Leverett and Earl Watford are all on the list. Three of those four -Suh, Succop, and Leverett- are locks to make the team. Watford likely won’t make the team. So, in all, expect at least three of the Buccaneers’ current roster spots to turn over before the game against the Cowboys. There’s also a good chance Cam Gill goes on the short-term IR, which open another spot up.

The players who don’t make the Buccaneers roster will have to make it through waivers before being added to the practice squad. Tampa Bay is also free to sign whichever free agent(s) of their choosing cut by other teams, as well.

Let’s check out the Buccaneers’ initial 53-man roster for the 2021 season.
