Buccaneers Free Up Four Million in Cap Space

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have converted guard Ali Marpet’s contract in a a roster bonus that is guaranteed. The move creates $4 million in cap space for the team.
The Buccaneers converted $5M of G Ali Marpet's contract into a guaranteed roster bonus (while adding two void years to his deal), creating $4M in cap space for 2021.
Marpet's cap charge increases by $1M for each of the next 4 years.

This contract also adds two voidable years to Marpet’s deal and increases Marpet’s cap hit $1million per year for the next four years.
