Buccaneers Pierre-Paul Out for Sunday’s Game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing the New England Patriots this Sunday in prime-time on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. After learning earlier they’d be without the services of TE Rob Gronkowski amongst others, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports that OLB Jason Pierre-Paul did not make the trip with the team and is also out Sunday versus the Patriots.

The Buccaneers also have changed CB Carlton Davis’ status to questionable with an abdominal/rib injury. The Bucs will look to Ross Cockrell, Dee Delaney and most likely newly acquired Richard Sherman to fill the void if Davis can’t play. This will be the second gane Pierre-Paul misses with a shoulder injury.
