The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that defensive back Richard Sherman and wide receiver Justin Watson have been designated to return from the injured reserve and physically unable to perform lists.

The moves start the 21 day practice window for them to rejoin the 53-man roster. The players can practice with the team but do not count against the 53-man roster requirement.

Sherman was brought in to combat the Buccaneers Injury problem in the secondary before being injured himself. Head coach Bruce Arians mentioned Tuesday that Sherman may do some “cross-training” at safety as well.

Watson has been out all year and looks to find a spot on a deep Bucs wide receiver depth chart.
