Buccaneers Elevate WR and QB from Practice Squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are elevating wide receiver John Brown and quarterback Ryan Griffin from their practice squad. The recently signed Brown will help with receiver depth with Breshad Perriman out. As Greg Auman of The Athletic reported, the Griffin elevation is most likely a reward for the Bucs long-time practice squad quarterback.
Bucs are elevating receiver John Brown from the practice squad for Sunday’s game vs. Rams. Also, curiously, fourth QB Ryan Griffin has been elevated from the practice squad.
