Brady on Comeback Rumors: “You Never Say Never”

0

Former Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is known in part to be a great decision maker. For 22 years Brady’s decision making led to him becoming the greatest quarterback of all-time. Whether it be decision making on the field or with branding his side projects like the TB12 Method and now the Brady Brand sports apparel line.

A Very Brady Conspiracy

Brady stepped away from the game just a week or so ago, and he’s wasted no time getting to work on his post-football endeavors. One of those endeavors, albeit one of the smaller ones is his weekly podcast “Let’s Go”. There’s nothing fancy about this podcast, just Brady and Jim Grey with your typical back and forth fashion. But the allure of this podcast is you really get to see a more personal side. Well, as personal as Brady allows.
When a player of Brady’s stature retires, media and fan’s of his immediately look for reasons why he would return. The conspiracies come at a fast and furious pace. So when he recorded his podcast Monday, co-host Jim Gray addressed these rumors.

“You Never Say Never”

“You never say never. At the same time, I know that … I feel very good about my decision. I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now,” Brady stated , “It could change, it most likely won’t. I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week. And again, I think it’s not looking to reverse course; I’m definitely not looking to do that.”

But Maybe…

So you’re saying there’s a chance? For what it’s worth I can’t see Brady making a return. The guy is known for his decision making and wavering on that seems unlikely. But Brady straddled the line potentially leaving the door open for a return. This is just another example of Brady being the “G.O.A.T.”, in that leaving all of your options open is not only smart but keeps your name and subsequent brand in the publics mind.
