Rob Gronkowski Names QB He’d Like to Play With

Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady’s friendship is well documented. When Brady signed with the Buccaneers it took little time for Gronkowski to come out of retirement and join Brady. Now that Brady has retired, what Gronkowski’s next move is all the chatter on the interwebs.

During a Q&A for Autographs NFTs on Tuesday Gronkowski was asked with Brady’s retirement who would he want as a quarterback.

“I kinda like this young buck quarterback. He’s in the Super Bowl now: It’s Joe Burrow, man,” Gronk stated. “I watched him in college. I just love the way he presents himself out on the football field. In the pocket he’s just so calm and he just slings it out on the field. I just love his swag, too. If I had to pick a quarterback it’d be the young buck Joe Burrow,” Gronkowski reiterated. “He’s killing it right now in the game.”

Rob Gronkowski has always said Brady is the only quarterback he wanted to play with. But that appears to have changed at least for now. Gronkowski had 55 receptions for 802 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season this year. He added nine more receptions, 116 yards and another touchdown in the postseason. Gronkowski is a free agent and is still playing at a high level. Will he change his mind and look to play with another quarterback next season? And will it be Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals?
