Once the report from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times broke Tuesday evening of center Ryan Jensen’s return there was one question. When can he return to the playing field?
The question of whether Jensen would play this Sunday was emphatically answered by head coach Todd Bowles. This is definitely the right move. Yes, the Bucs have to win this Sunday, but risking a long-term injury to Jensen isn’t worth that.

Jensen was at practice Wednesday, but is listed as day-to-day by head coach Bowles.

Look for the Bucs to ease Jensen back in slowly. If the team wins this Sunday I’d expect to see Jensen back for the first-round playoff game. If the lose Sunday, don’t expect Jensen back on the field until training camp in 2023.
