Teammates Indicate Brady Won’t Return To Buccaneers

Following the Buccaneers’ 31-14 Wild Card Round loss to the Cowboys quarterback Tom Brady stated he would take his time on deciding what his plans are for the future.

Reports coming in from multiple outlets that “several” of Brady’s teammates felt their interactions with the 45-year-old quarterback after the game indicated he was leaving the Buccaneers.

One said player stated, “I’d be surprised if he’s back.” Then another stated. “He sounded like a person saying goodbye for good.”

Unfortunately these players weren’t named by Rapoport, but his reputation is excellent and his reports carry weight.

Brady seemed to bolster this during his final press conference on Monday. “I just want to say thank you guys for everything this year.” He also noted his love for the organization.

As NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported, Brady’s options are as follows.

“Play again for the Bucs, which is appearing less and less likely based on these accounts.

Retire at age 45 as he always planned. He also apparently has a 10-year, $375-million deal with Fox Sports awaiting when he’s ready.

Play for another team after signing as a free agent, similar to the 2020 offseason. Among the teams potentially in the running are the Raiders, 49ers, Titans and others.”

The NFL’s silly season is in full effect, especially for Brady rumors. We’ll do our best to keep up with the most credible ones. For now, sit back and relax and enjoy the ride.
