Tanner McKee, QB, Stanford

WT: 230 lbs


– All-Pac-12 honorable mention QB (2021)
– 2021 Davey O’Brien QB Class (2021)
– Two-time Manning Award Star of the Week
– Rose Bowl Pac-12 Player of the Week
– Two-time Davey O’Brien Award Great 8
– Two-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week



– Exceptional arm strength
– Played in a West Coast/Pro style offense
– Great footwork, strong in the pocket
– Great accuracy, throws receivers open
– Can throw the entire route tree
– Great speed for his size



– Needs to improve his touch passing
– Loses accuracy while scrambling
– Sub-par, two years with suspect talent
– Needs to speed up processing time



Tanner McKee has all the intangibles you look for in an NFL quarterback. His struggles can mostly be attributed to the poor supporting cast at Stanford. Look for McKee to go off the board in the 3rd round or later.
