The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the least amount of cap space available in the NFL. The news comes from the NFLPA’s salary cap report.

The Pewter Pirates currently have $1,273,897 in cap space while still needing to sign their entire draft class.

With no official draft picks signings announced as of May 27th the Bucs do have their work cutout for them. They will obviously have to restructure some existing contracts to get this year’s draft class signed. The top candidates for a contract restructure are Shaq Barrett and Mike Evans (yes again).

With those restructures the team would not only be able to sign their draft class, but add a few bargain bin free agents as well. Look for some contract restructures here in the new future for the Buccaneers as they continue re-tooling in preparation for the 2023 season.
