The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly sign free agent wide receiver Cody Thompson. The report comes from Thompson’ agent Equity Sports and confirmed by Fox Sports Greg Auman.

Thompson was an undrafted free agent in 2019 originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s spent time with three other teams before signing with the Bucs on Wednesday.

Kansas City Chiefs (2019)
Seattle Seahawks (2019)
Cincinnati Bengals (2019)
Seattle Seahawks (2019–2023)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2024-present)

Thompson has only appeared in 12 games in his NFL career. The 28-year-old receiver is looked at as a roster replacement for recently waived receiver Deven Thompkins.
