The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached an agreement and will release outside linebacker Randy Gregory per multiple reports.
Via the Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud,
“Bucs have reached an agreement with Randy Gregory, who will be released.”
This is no real surprise as Gregory was a no-show for training camp and obviously now two preseason games. Gregory and the Bucs agreed to a one-year deal for $3 million plus incentives for a total amount of $5 million earlier this offseason. The Buccaneers ended up putting Gregory on the reserve/did not report list in July.
Terms of the “agreement” were not available at time of publication.
